Many trails remain snow-covered and many popular trails are exposed to avalanche terrain. Adhere to safety signage at trailheads or check conditions with info centers or the trail report

Even though it is spring, we can still get winter-like storms with corresponding avalanche problems. Avalanche hazard will generally be highest during periods of heat and/ or rain. Cornices are big, and they will fall off in the coming months.
