Avalanche conditions exist in the high alpine throughout the summer season. Watch for cornice failures and wet snow avalanches and be wary after fresh snow storms.

Avalanches can occur at any time during the summer season on the high peaks, typically as a result of a summer snowstorm or a hot day with wet snow. Always start your days early and finish early.
