We didn't receive any new reports of avalanches on Monday. A few small cornices and wet loose avalanches released on the weekend.
It remains unlikely for humans to trigger large avalanches at this time. Small loose wet avalanches could release during the heat of the day, particularly near rocky outcrops.
Surface hoar is growing in shaded wind-sheltered areas and a hard melt-freeze crust is found on the snow surface on sunny slopes. At high elevations, widespread wind effect is found in wind-exposed terrain. Soft faceted snow prevails in shady terrain sheltered from the wind.
The mid and lower snowpack is strong.
