Lizard-Flathead, South Rockies, Akamina, Flathead, Lizard, Bull, Crowsnest North, Crowsnest South, Elkford East, Elkford West.
Warm sunny weather will cause wet avalanches, especially on sun-exposed slopes.
A few small (size 1) avalanches were reported over the past few days including small wind slabs on north-facing alpine slopes and wet loose avalanches on sun-exposed slopes.
Wet loose avalanches will occur over the next few days as skies clear and the freezing level rises to mountain tops.
Expect surfaces to melt and weaken as the freezing level climbs to 2800 m on Saturday. This will occur rapidly on sun-exposed slopes.
Weak layers deeper in the snowpack have shown signs of strengthening and are no longer a concern.
