Snowpack Summary
Storm totals of 30 to 70 cm are expected by Sunday morning. Any old surface layers such as facets, surface hoar or thin crusts have likely been neutralized by the rainy start to the storm. The cooling trend through the storm is also favorable for bonding.
The mid and lower snowpack is generally well settled and bonded.
Snow depths at treeline are around 100 cm near Whistler, and 70 cm in the Duffy.
