Snowpack Summary

Expect early season conditions with a shallower than average snowpack, the average depth at treeline is between 30 and 80 cm. Below treeline snowpack depths taper off quickly.

Surface conditions are variable. A sun crust can be found on some steep south and west facing slopes  and wind effect on exposed terrain at treeline and above.

Another crust with facets or depth hoar exists at or near the ground.
