Snowpack Summary

Over the past few days the wind has come from the southwest and then shifted to the northwest, wind effect could be found on all aspects. At lower elevations a new crust can likely be found on or near the surface.

15 to 30 cm of new snow from Friday’s storm overlies a crust on all aspects at treeline and south aspects in the alpine.

The lower snowpack contains a crust from early November.

Treeline snow depths are highly variable.
