Surfaces continue to facet under generally cool and clear weather conditions. A crust is present on most south-facing terrain and lower elevations, while previously wind-affected surfaces can be found in exposed alpine terrain. Small, isolated wind slabs may exist in high alpine terrain, particularly on steep slopes near mountain tops and ridge crests.
