Spring is upon us and avalanche conditions will fall within one of four scenarios outlined in the Spring Conditions Guide from Avalanche Canada.Many trails remain snow-covered and many popular trails are exposed to avalanche terrain. Adhere to safety signage at trailheads or check conditions with info centers or the trail report

Snowpack Summary
Even though it is spring, we can still get winter-like storms with corresponding avalanche problems. The deep persistent problem persists and we will likely continue to see large deep avalanches with heating, rain, or large triggers, such as cornice failures.
