Keep an eye out for locally forming wind slabs in the alpine, but otherwise travel is quite efficient on a firm snowpack and little avalanche activity is expected.
No new avalanches have been observed in the last few days.
2-5cm of recent snow overlies a melt freeze crust to mountaintop on solar aspects and up to around tree line elsewhere, as well as widespread wind effect from previous strong winds and warm temperatures. A weak layer of surface hoar and facets is down 10-20cm, which is most problematic in areas with wind loading.
