Snowpack Summary

Northerly winds are currently redistributing around 30 to 50 cm of low-density snow at all elevations. This new snow has buried various pre-existing crusts, surface hoar, or old wind-affected surfaces.

The mid and lower snowpack is generally well settled with a series of variable crusts and facetted snow.

The average snow depth at treeline is approximately 70 to 150 cm.
