Skied (5 skiers) the North side on the 1st run: No signs of instabilities while skiing and with two ski cuts done (awesome snow). Skied the NW side the run after: 4 skiers went down the small gully: no sign of instabilities, sluff only. Fifth person skied more on looker's left (see pictures) and triggered a size 1 avalanche in the open trees.
It seemed like a localized (see Quick section comment) avalanche that was in a sheltered (no wind slab) area. Most likely a storm slab that was maybe sitting on the weak layer of surface hoar? Did not go back up to analyse the avalanche closely unfortunately.
