Some great powder riding in sheltered areas in the trees high up today. At lower elevations in the meadows, theres only 60cm, so still a bit shallow. In the alpine we found 115cm (but the depths were variable). We noticed some cracking between sled tracks and when we dug a quick test pit, found a reactive wind slab that was 25cm thick. We decided to avoid steep wind loaded alpine slopes, which wasnt hard to do as there was so much other good riding around.
