Quick Observation
Little Sand Creek area today we found 140 cm of snow on the ground at 1860 m. More than we've seen elsewhere in the region. Last week's rain crust is down 40 and there was a new, thin crust down 5 cm but you couldn't feel it when riding. We found no reactive layers and there wasn't any wind loading at treeline. We couldn't see into the alpine because of cloud. We didn't see any new avalanches. The wind was light from the southwest to southeast throughout the day. No new snow overnight.
