Some observations from ~1860m SE slope below Mt. Gandalf: Snowpack: 60-75cm Storm interfaces down 15 and 25cm Nov crust/facets down 40cm Compression test: CTM12 RP down 15 on storm snow interface. There was minimal wind and no real slab properties forming in the storm snow as of EOD Weds. Extended column: ECTN PST 65/100 on facets above Nov crust down 40. Overall, it's still very thin and a lot of the terrain isn't skiable unless you've got a good set of rock skis. The trail is pretty rough below 1500m, and there are quite a few rock steps/stumps to avoid. Manageable on the way up, but had to bootpack a good part of the steep forest on the way out.
