Log cabin

Little day trip on Log cabin to test our skis. We went up the tree cut up to a bench 2/3 up log cabin and skied the north est facing slopes. There was powder at treeline and below treeline but as soon as we came out of the trees snow got progressively more wind affected. Hard crust snow variable with penetrable crust and some powder pockets. Skiing in the trees was good but short! No wind in the AM but picked up around 12.
