Huckleberry hut

Heading out of Huckleberry hut today. We rode the sled track which had been covered by avalanche debris in several spots, where slide paths and gully features cross the track. Breakable crust to at least 1600m, lots of tree bombs and fallen trees. Lots of avalanches observed, multiple size 3s on the south slope of Commonwealth peak. Limited visibility. Will try to upload picture later as it is not working on mobile.

Several natural avalanches have released through the night or in the morning. Almost all slide paths or gullies we have crossed on the way out of the hut had gone to size 2 - 3 and ran to 1500m .
