Below 1200m conditions were quite icey; as we navigated up from Rainbow Lake Trail we ended up boot packing quite a ways. In the alpine there was roughly 30cm of newer snow on top of a crust. Did not see any signs of avalanches. Skied some nice mellow slopes.
