Toured Murray today and skied the north facing bowl. Started off at -6C at the truck. Lots of fresh snow. Did not measure but it was plenty deep. Trail breaking was knee deep in most places and hip deep in deeper pockets. All made for some excellent skiing. Noticed a few whumpfs in the lower meadows of the bowl (1,700m) likely due to underlying alder. Temps warmed up throughout the day and noticed snowball snow on our way out at approximately 1,580m and got progressively worse as we got to the bottom. Truck at the temp at +4C when we got back around 3:30pm.
