Halcyone Summit

We got on top of Halcyone today. Many wind slabs formed in the lee of ridges. We did no encounter any signs of instability on our way. 1600m down to 1300m we had about 10cm ski pen with very reliable turns. From 1300m down to 1000m was quite variable skiing, lots of wind slabs and surface crusts. The best skiing was below 1000m. Still amazing skiing in the trees!
