The Cariboo range is extremely hit and miss with the snow dragons. The mid December surface hoar is sporadic and undecided in its reactivity. I would not trust it! Today the mid Dec sh was 45cm down at 2200m and not reactive in testing. The late Nov crust was 115 down and produced hard CT results but nothing in the larger extended column test. One older (72hrs +) windslab, sz2 avalanche was seen on steep alp lee asp. No other signs of instability noticed as we toured steep Ne tree lines.
