Crowfoot Glades

Mainly cloudy with some moderate wind in the morning and flurries in the afternoon. Dug a pit and cut some steeper slopes with no cracks or sluffing. Decided acceptable to ski steeper terrain after our first run.

20-30+ of powder overnight, 160cm snowpack. Progressive compression failure 40cm deep between 8-13 taps (avg. of three tests at a single test pit). No planar failure observed. November raincrust found 130cm deep. Facets below raincrust.
