Needle Peak

Report for the day was low/mod/mod Skin track was slippery as expected. Inversion made for a warm ascent and rffected snow contrition negatively as elevation increased. Snow pack was stable, with intense solar radiation and thus the snow surface conditions deteriorated throughout the day. The picture shows our approximate descent trail.*NOT RECOMMENDED* Extremely dense trees coupled will poor snow made for some type 2 fun, but we got out with smiles on our faces.
