It's on at treeline

Excellent conditions for skiing at treeline. Supportive base and midpack with 20-30cm of fist on top. We dug a pit at 2260m in open trees and found HS of 90cm. 26cm of F storm snow over a right side up mid pack and base trending 4F-P. CTH 20 RP compression test results failing at interface between storm snow and old surfaces. Observed debris from 3 Sz 1 wind slabs on alpine fan features, light wind transport and S-1 light snowfall all day. Ventured into alpine and turned around after finding 1F-P windslab over facets. Snow quality and coverage is much more variable up high. Treeline's where the goods are at right now, go get it!
