Spent the last two days in the cariboos. Up to 35cm of new storm snow although winds have really moved the snow around. Sometimes its hood deep and sometimes you are scratching through wind smashed alpine. Majority of the time visibility was very poor and limited travel. Upper treeline temps avg -6. Snowing a variable less than 1cm and hour to 2cm hour depending on time. Winds light from the SW.
Sledder remote on steep unridable terrain. Event was right near test profile site. Suspect Dec 15. See terrible pic for more info.
Dec 15 down 55cms with surface hoar to 15mm Jan 05 down 44cms with surface hoar to 6mm Mid jan non reactive or noticed in HST Full propagation (shooting cracks) on both layers in the moderate range
