Quick Observation

Saw evidence of slab avalanches from last week, probably the natural cycle from Thursday. Crowns + bed surfaces had a fresh 10-15cm. We mostly skied North facing slopes between 1400-1600M where there was still fresh, non crusty snow to be had. Everything we skied a seemed solid including some small steep convexities. Even areas that didn't slide last week seemed solid. We dug a pit on a 30 degree North facing slope at 1600M. We got planar shears on two different layers in a compression test. CT15@40cm + CT22@100cm. ECT showed hard planar results on the same layers 25 and 30 tape respectively, both propogated.
