avalanche

Coordinates

49.553550, -121.159170

Quick Observation

Lots of wind effect up high (see first photo - raised ski tracks) made for pretty lousy ski quality, with breakable crust lower down and only one pitch with decent snow between 1300-1400m. Wet and heavy lower down... with a serving of mashed potatoes in the cutblock :)

Avalanche Information

See third photo - old debris likely from Feb 1st pineapple, ran Size 3.

Snowpack

ECTN 13 down 26 CTM 13 (SP) down 26 on preserved 2mm stellars Variable wind effect (sastrugi to grabby thin slabs to breakable crust) was not reactive to skier traffic.
