Metal Dome

Went up to treeline on metaldome, stoke was high. Skiing from 550m, beautiful day.

Warming in early afternoon led to snowbombs coming off trees and heavy snow on the way out.

We performed an ECT and saw no signs of propagation across the block. We then performed a compression test and saw a resistant failure 30cm down on CTM15. A picture of the failure layer is included. Deep heavy snow in treeline, at lower elevations we observed a crust on the surface.
