Quick Observation
Skiied Vista Bowl. Ridgetops still very crusty/icy, but below that lay pockets of 5-15cm of good snow inbetween exposed crust which appears to be breaking down somewhat to make for not terrible, but not good skiing and skinning conditions. Old avy debris on slopes also seem to be breaking down to make for slightly better skinning conditions; however, skinning steep slopes on all aspects are still challenging due to the widespread crust, particularly below 2000m.
Avalanche Information
Triggered very small Sz1 wind slabs near entrance of Vista Bowl atop the crust layer. Very short runout as the crust layer was very resistant to sliding, but the slab was extremely dense due to heavy winds.
