Quick report
A compression test revealed a fracture at 79cm on tap 11 (CT11@79cm.) An extended column test revealed a fracture with no propagation on tap number 3 at 79cm (ECTN3@79.) Parking at Chains End, we traveled east along Highway 130 until reaching the junction with the "U" Trail. Upon reaching the junction, we continued traveling off the trail, heading east until we climbed up to Sucker Lake.

Snowpack
The snowpack is continuing to solidify but the bottom 30cm still consists of loosely faceted depth hoar. A weak layer was identified at 79cm, likely as a result from the recent storm cycle. A hard 1F layer was found from 47-45cm in the snowpack with a softer F hardness layer directly underneath. An additional 24" of snow is projected to accumulate over the next 48 hours which may form storm and wind slabs on said weak layer. East facing aspect at 20 degrees.
