Quick report
We got a healthy foot of fresh in town over the last few days, and at sunset on Saturday it is snowing about an inch an hour on the hill overlooking town. Today there was enough snow to sled up the Greys, but not enough base to confidently venture off of the main roads, except in isolated areas. Tomorrow it should be deep enough to avoid most rocks and ruts on the main roads. At 8500' there was about 2' of fresh, with deeper drifts resting atop a couple inches of of base on most aspects prior to this storm, at 9500' there was ~2-3' feet of base blown into protected areas, and some of that snow was getting pretty sugary prior to the ongoing storm. Hopefully we get some visibility early next week to see what's moving up there. Instant winter!
