Marriott Basin Conditions

Spent Dec. 29th and 30th up at Wendy Thompson Hut. Coverage above 1600m is generally pretty good. Currently 30-50cm of powder sitting ontop of a crust (mid-december). Solar input from the 27th didn't affect snow quality southerly slopes like Rock and Roll. Didn't notice any instabilities apart from one skiier triggered size 0.5 slab avalanche on a small steep unsupported slope on Cabin Hill above the hut - SE aspect ~40 degrees. The slab slid on the most recent crust layer.
