Window Mountain - Past expiration date

<p>While these sunny days are good for mountain views it’s time for some new snow. Clear days and warm temperatures over this week have produced loose wet avalanches out of steep south facing terrain, but we did not see any new avalanches in the Window bowl area today. Light to Moderate winds were present but no snow was moving, as most windward slopes have been stripped bare. The skiing was also not great, a mix of sastrugi and wind pressed hard-pack. We staged at Atlas and had to sled some long sections of gravel to get to snow.</p>
