Hector south

Brandon Richards, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Rode mellow open trees off hector south ridge. Minor whumpfing in areas with a hard windslab underneath the storm snow. No shooting cracks observed. Snow is staying light and dry on the east aspect. Definitely slabbing up a little more in areas kissed by the sun today. Ankle deep trail breaking down low when you could stand on the alders, 2300 m it became more of an uphill swim with knee to thigh deep trail breaking. Easily 50cm plus of storm snow at this elevation. Witnessed incident from party across the drainage found in the other MIN. Stayed around to make contact. Ski out is grabby but fun depending who you ask
