Too early for Castlecrag

Nov30, Drove to ~900m. Approx 20-30 cm depth. Skinned from truck to base of Castlecrag and surrounding meadows. Approx 30-40cm at 1600m. Breakable crust on all aspects. Felt like there was in inversion, with facets likely to develop on the crust as sky cleared and cooled. Skin up was quite easy in spite of low snow depth, but skiing down was terrible and treacherous. Regardless, it was a fun day out in the park for some air, exercise and laughs.
