We took advantage of the cooler temperatures and low avalanche hazard to ski a steep east facing alpine line up Bullmoose by Tumbler Ridge. We managed to squeak in our field day just before the rain started up. We saw no recent avalanches or signs of instability. The snowpack was frozen up pretty good with just the top 2-3cm that were soft due to the morning sun. South and west facing slopes are pretty much all melted out now in this area but north and east facing stuff will continue to provide some good riding potential for a while longer.
