Alpine areas heavily wind affected with poor riding quality. Sheltered trees below 1800m on northerly aspects skied best. Plentiful tree bomb remnants down lower but snow was soft enough to ride through them with ease. Several old crown lines visible on lee slopes. No signs of instability today but we kept to supported terrain with small, manageable steeper pitches.
