Good Conditions in Big Y

Conditions were pretty great today in the alpine up Big Y valley, clear skies and no wind at ridge top. We found up to 10 cm of soft snow from the weekend over the old firm surface. With low hazard we felt good about stepping out into bigger terrain. Even during low hazard we practiced good group management and skied steep slopes one at a time and spaced out under over head hazards.
