Variable condition but found the goods

Toured up 2000ft ridge. Dropped into liverwurst in treed chute NW aspect just above 2001 ft ski run. Very wind effected from recent northern winds. Wavy upslope snow distribution. very poor skiing, however no reactive wind slab. Just loose dry from new snow. Then skied SE facing open trees on other side of liverwurst bowl and found old storm snow unconsolidated, no wind effect, no slab property. Great pow skiing.
