Deep Pow and Avalanches

Amazing riding conditions in the Bullmoose area with 50cm of storm snow over an old temperature crust. All the new snow from the last couple of days combined with wind made for some pretty touchy avalanche conditions - especially on steep west facing alpine slopes today. We saw several large slab avalanches that had run within the last few hours. We played on mellower slopes in the alpine and treeline today and avoided hanging out under avi paths that had not recently avalanched.
