We did some companion rescue practice in Booterville. We skied into Lakeside Bowl at about 12 pm and the snow was powdery with a slightly wet surface from strong solar radiation. Noticed small surface hoar grains on W to S aspects, larger grains in sheltered areas. As we were leaving at 3:30, we spotted small point releases at the base of the rocky face above Lakeside Bowl. The skiing on the N slopes of Disease Ridge looked amazing too bad we didn't have more time.
