I saw two size 1-1.5 driving back from Banff towards Canmore this afternoon. The two loose dry spindrift which was coming off the lower cliff below Mount Rundle's main summit came off the same location with a 20 seconds interlude. I'm not entirely sure what triggered the slides, but I would suspect overloading from wind transport. Obviously the size of the cloud was emphasized by the wind, but it still look liked more than enough snow to pluck an ice climber of his route if the same thing was to happen on a climb like Sacre Bleu....
