North Queest Mountain

Given the forecasts the day was surprisingly warm with v.good visibility. The upper 2/3 of the mountain had ~1' of champagne powder- which was also surprising.

Warmer than we anticipated, only cold and windy at the top of the mountain. High clouds that lowered a bit during the day but the visibility remained v.good.

CT-15 progressive compression at interface (30cms down) of new powder snow and a consolidated snowpack below. The remaining column was bonded very well all the way to the MF crust from earlier in December which only failed when the column was pulled out from behind by hand after the 30 taps.
