Capilano Mountain

Isothermal snow below 1100 meters then heavy new snow over isothermal snow, rain-soaked. Ski pen was calf deep. Crossed 5 or 6 avalanche chutes on Downing Creek road on steep west-facing gullies that had recently slid although not as big as in previous years.
