A super pleasant surprise! The northern aspects of Paul Ridge where wind loaded with knee deep powder making for some great skiing and turns. Lack of fresh snow seems to have turned people away.
Meadows above Red Heather hut was tracked out but skiable, creek crossings need to be done with good lines otherwise you'll bury your tips.
Skin track up was as icy as it can get, would have done well with skates on the descent.
