Crowfoot Area

The day started off around zero degrees, calm, and partly cloudy. After some skiing, we hopped up a into the alpine from the south. The area was completely wind affected. Temperatures rose to 2 degrees and wind shifted/ picked up and was blowing strongly south for the afternoon. Was worried my doors were going to blow off when finishing up at the road. Skiing was ok. Last weekend, the snow in the area (protected spots) was buttery and it's only gotten heavier since then. That's on East facing, fairly protected slopes.
