Group of 2 headed up for a couple of laps in Jimmy Jr. bowl. Encountered 2 other parties of 2 in the area. Light snowfall and moderate winds in the alpine were transporting snow into the bowl. Not enough to be concerned but definitely something to watch out for in the coming days if the wind keeps up. Bowl was wind affected and every turn/step was different. We observed crusts of varying thicknesses (1-5 cm) along the uptrack and while skiing the snow was quite variable. We skied the skier’s left gully on the East aspect. South aspect had snow covered avy debris suggesting that those slopes released sometime last week. Avy debris reached the left most side of the skier’s left gully.
Exit gully skied well.
