Shames ridge walk

Rode a few lines along shames ridge on Sunday. Quite windy on top of the ridge, blowing from the NE-ish. Lots of wind deposition in isolated north-facing midslopes and lots of wind effect along the ridgetop. Great powder skiing on fish and chips and third knoll (west and north aspects) but very crusty skiing a bit past fishbowl (south aspect) for the whole line. Started feeling the rain crust under the new snow at around 1000m elevation near valley bottom.
