Gorby Falls - Cornice Avalanche

Witnessed a size 2 avalanche due to a wind loaded cornice breaking free. Avalanche was over Gorby Falls. Lots of spindrift and wind loading today. Cornices noticeably larger by the end of the day. We climbed the middle line of Bow Falls. Good climbing up to WI4. Hero ice. Some shell ice pulling over bulges.
