Touchy deep on 2000

Wow. Soft snow is pretty sweet and no ski crampons, yes please! Went to harvest the goods on 2000. Lots of cracking while skinning and popped a small slap on a convexity while skiing. Dug a pit with mixed results, ECTX and CTM11 (RP) down 25. We noticed the snow stiffening anywhere it was exposed to wind. We did get some visibility early afternoon and did not see any naturals. Skiis were penetrating down to the crusts.
